I Hate SSIS

July 24, 2007

Check out the I Hate SSIS page on the Ayende's wiki. SSIS stands for SQL Server Integration Services. I've never worked with it before (I have little experience with DTS), but I know this guy at work who does this stuff most of his time. Apparently, this piece of technology is seriously broken. It seems that Oren is so fed up with this, that he started building his own open-source alternative named Rhino ETL. Why are people complaining that there are no heroes anymore? ;-)

If you and your team want to learn more about how to write maintainable unit tests and get the most out of TDD practices, make sure to have look at our trainings and workshops or check out the books section. Feel free to reach out at infonull@nullprincipal-itnull.be.
